THIRD ADAB TSSP PROGRAM (Sponsorship of Chinese Tertiary Students at various European Universities) STATUS: Successfully Completed 1998.

CHINA INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT ACADEMY. (China’s first four-year English-language tertiary faculty for top-level hotel & hospitality management, offering extensive Bachelor and Master programmes.) STATUS: (Initiated Dec. 2007) Deferred to early-2011.

INTEGRATED FLIGHT & TYPE TRAINING ACADEMY (The first, ICAO-9868 fully compliant, civil airline MPL pilot training facility in China. Sino-Foreign JV) STATUS: (Initiated May 2009) In progress June 2010.

FUJIAN Province

LUXURY OCEAN-GOING MOTOR YACHT BUILDING FACILITY (Projected Sino-UAE-EUR Joint Venture facility for the construction of custom-made, 35m-upwards, ocean-going mega yachts and steel/aluminium hull, 12m-upwards, luxury leisure motor yachts.) STATUS: Cancelled Sept. 2008 (due to recession.)

FITNESS & SPORT EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING PLANT (Wholly foreign-owned manufacturing subsidiary of the New Zealand/Canadian Springfree Group) STATUS: Successfully Completed Oct. 2008.

SUCROSE & PRESERVATIVES PROCESSING PLANT (Local Manufacturing-JV with Australasian Food Group, Australia) STATUS: Successfully Finalized 2000.

POULTRY BREEDING & AGRICULTURAL REHABILITATION PROJECT (Local Production-JV with Casandra & Cie, Argentina) STATUS: Successfully Finalized 1999.

EXTREMELY HEAVY LIFTING & EXCEPTIONAL TRANSPORTATION (China Operations-JV with the Mammoet Group, Holland) STATUS: Successfully Finalized 2001.

HOT ISOSTATIC PRESSING, METALLURGICAL COATINGS & VACUUM HEAT TREATMENT (Local Processing-JV with Bodycote International Group, United Kingdom) STATUS: Successfully Finalized 2002.

AUTOMOTIVE AIR-CONDITIONERS (Local Assembly-JV with Delphi - General Motors, USA) STATUS: Successfully Completed 2001.

Opportunities in China

On behalf of the, mainly foreign, funding principals of the various industrial, agricultural, infrastructure and environmental development projects and JV start-ups in the People’s Republic of China, coordinated and assisted by the international foundation Asian Development Assistance Board (ADAB), we are constantly recruiting experienced middle and higher management staff.

Prospective candidates, of any nationality and gender, should have a recognized tertiary degree (various disciplines) with at least three to five years’ hands-on experience and preferably with a broad business management background and some Asian exposure.
Further essential requirements are an excellent proficiency in both Putonghua (Mandarin) and English; strong communication and negotiation skills; an analytical mind and able to work independently in a typical, sometimes relatively isolated, Chinese environment.
